The Caps

Over time, the button caps can become cracked or broken from excessive (or aggressive) use. The good news is that they are field replaceable.

If a cap needs to be replaced, contact customer support and ask for pricing and availability using the below part numbers.

Removing and Replacing Caps

You can remove any of the caps by pulling them off carefully with a pair of needle-nose pliers, exposing the cap insert slot.

When grabbing the cap with the pliers, be careful not to scratch the surface of the controller.

Insert the new cap into the slot by hand and press firmly to install.
