QOR Engine Power Supply Specifications

Scope

This article pertains to the QOR.16, QOR.32, and Axia Console / Backup Power Supply.

Description

The QOR Engine and Backup Supply have a specification regarding power input printed on the back panel:

100V - 240V AC

There has been some confusion as to whether or not this value is correct because the internal power supply states a range of 90V - 240V, as does some of our marketing material at the time of this writing.

According to the datasheet from Traco regarding the TOP-100-148 power supply used in the QOR engine and backup supply, the power rating (wattage) is decreased to 50% at 90 Volts, and to 20% below 90 Volts.

While the internal supply states it is capable of running at input voltages below 100 Volts, in reality the minimum for Axia's application within the QOR engine is 100 Volts because of the requirement for 100% power output.

We plan to correct our marketing information regarding this specification in future updates and apologize for any inconvenience.
