Viewing the MAC Addresses for the 2 Ethernet Ports in the Z/IPStream R/1
Scope
This document explains how to view the MAC addresses for both of the rear panel Ethernet ports.
Question
We require the MAC address of the LAN port to add the device to the Allow List of our network’s port security policy. Can it be provided? My unit only has a sticker present for the WAN port.
Answer
Both MAC addresses can be seen from the web interface in Advanced Options / View Network Diagnostics.
Look in the "Address Information" section.
Here's an example from my unit. "eth0" is the LAN port (IP set to 192.168.2.64) and "usb0" is the WAN port, (IP set to 192.168.0.180):
